CUSD Reads - Superintendent's Book Club
Dr. Amy Peterman invites students to explore the wonders of reading and enjoy monthly rewards as part of her student book club, CUSD Reads!
Students who read a book in any month from October through March and write a short review (or draw a picture for grades TK/K) can earn a reward including stickers, bookmarks, books, reading lights, and more. Climate Kids: NASA’s Eyes on the Earth
Is a website to provide students with information about climate change in a fun and easy to understand way. The website includes games, resources, short movies and more. Check it out at https://climatekids.nasa.gov/
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has released a free collection of resources to enhance middle school students’ understanding of climate change impacts on the United States’ wildlife and ecosystems. “Climate Change, Wildlife, and Wildlands Toolkit for Formal and Informal Educators” contains case studies and activities based on climate science, environmental education, and stewardship information.
