CAASPP testing

Dear CHS Families,

We want to inform you that your student will be participating in state testing in the coming weeks. These assessments provide an important opportunity for students to demonstrate their learning and help us measure academic progress. Please see attached letter for more information. Additionally, state test scores will determine students' eligibility for off-campus lunch next school year.

  • 11th-grade students will take the CAASPP Summative Assessments

  • 9th and 10th-grade students will take the Interim Comprehensive Assessment (ICA), which serves as practice for the CAASPP in 11th grade.

Key Details:

📅 Testing Dates: April 7th – April 17th see CAASPP Testing Schedule 24-25
📝 Subjects: English Language Arts, Math, and Science

To help your student perform their best, please ensure they:
✔ Get a good night’s sleep before testing days
✔ Eat a nutritious breakfast
✔ Bring a fully charged Chromebook and headphones (if required)
✔ Arrive on time, ready to do their best

We will follow a block schedule due to CAASPP state testing. April 7th, April 10th, and April 14th students with an unscheduled 6th period will not be able to leave early as they will be attending their scheduled 3rd-period classes during this time. Please see CAASPP Testing Schedule

We appreciate your support in encouraging your student to take these assessments seriously. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the office at (209) 559-1920.

Thank you for your partnership!
