Nearly 400 CUSD students showed up at the Family Resource Center's Back-to-School Bash, where free backpacks, shoes, books, haircut vouchers, and more will help families start off the new school year! Flawless Hair Salon & Makeup Studio in Ceres and Headquarters Barbershop in Turlock donated 150 haircuts. Ceres Fire Department was on hand with a shiny red firetruck. Kona Ice kept things cool with shaved ice. Books were in abundance from Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, the Stanislaus County Library, and our own CUSD libraries.
